To be Content..
Peace of mind; mental or emotional satisfaction..
When we are content, how much more is God's blessing poured upon us!
We are searching and searching for the perfect spouse.
It's when we chose to be content with knowing God is all we need and put our focus on following God
instead of somebody else to complete us.
Then we may be blessed with a partner because are partner may not end up being an idol to us.
We need more money or believe we need money so we cut out tithing and time with God.
It's when we are content knowing what we have is His and given to us by Him.
Give a tenth showing that you are content knowing God will provide, and set aside a day with God
keeping the Sabbath Day holy so you can hear what He is telling you,
then we will be blessed abundantly because we are content with all we have and have listened to the direction of the Lord who has created us and knows best for us.
"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5
"'A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the LORD; it is holy to the LORD."' Leviticus 27:29-31
"You are under a curse—your whole nation—because you are robbing me. Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says the LORD Almighty" Malachi 3:9-11
We get drunk, steal, hate and are dishonest because we want what we think is best for us are a better way out.
It's when we are content with God's word and commandments, knowing that God didn't give them to us to
rule over us, but because He knows whats best for us and keeps us from falling into satan's trap.
Then we will be blessed because we were content with God's leading and have gone down the path to prosperity.
We don't need material things of this world to make us content or happy. What will happen when they pass away. Why not be content through Christ Jesus. Instead of chasing the things of this world you will be blessed with them.
God doesn't care about Himself, He cares about YOU!
He knows He can give you all you need and this world can not!
He knows that satan is here to deceive you and He wants to show you truth!
He wants you to be with Him for eternity if you would just give yourself to Him to lead you!
Just as a mother or father loves and gives rules for their children to lead them down the right path, so does our Heavely Father.
'“Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”' Luke 11:11-13
He cares so much he sent his son who came down to earth to be persecuted and killed to take the punishment. But it doesn't end there..you MUST believe in Him. And believe is more than you think. Even the demons believe God exists but will they make it to eternity in heaven? By no means!
"You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder." James 2:19
If you think that everyone goes to heaven, read what God is telling you and not what you have learned from men!
I speak because I am passionate. I speak because I was blinded and I was lost!
If you struggle with lust and porn, throw out your computer and burn all that tempts you!
Whatever is causing you to sin remove it! How much more important is the kingdom of God! Don't follow the things that bring you to the path to destruction! Because before you know it, you may be there. Be content with Christ!
"If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell." Matthew 5:29,30
If you struggle with material possessions, give them to the poor! Why must you need your collections to complete you when all you need is Christ?! Have you noticed if your focus is on the material things you have you more than likely are either not fulfilled and happy or are dirt poor! If you can not put God first before your possessions then burn them or give them away. Don't even take the time to sell it all, or you may fall back into finding too much worth in them. They are worth nothing to our salvation! And if you have passed the test and have put no other idols before the Lord, may you be blessed abundantly here on this earth! Be content with Christ!
"I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want" Philippians 4:11,12
Whatever it is you struggle with cut it off! The Bible has the answers to life and gives you each puzzle piece to success through Christ. I wouldn't rather follow any other way! Be content with Christ!
"But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that." 1 Timothy 6:6,7
God's word gives us so much direction! Check out it and see if it doesn't change your life! I say all this in love for I once was lost had lost all faith and hope and Christ has given me the strength, hope, and direction in all circumstances! Praise God for His unconditional love and faithfulness!

Gratitude-Unlocking the Doors to Happiness
Gratitude...
Appreciating what we have...
Looking at the positives...
Unlocking the Doors to happiness.
Mom comes home and says, "clean the dishes."
Do you sigh and grumble? Or gladly do them?
"Thank you God for a mom and dishes to eat from."
Husband forgets it's his day to pick the kids up from school.
Does your trigger go off? Or gladly work it out?
"Thank you God for a husband to help, children to pick up, and an education to provide for them."
Huge test at school is tomorrow.
Do you complain? Or do you gladly study?
"Thank you God for a good education."
You struggle at paying your rent or mortgage.
Do you sulk in unhappiness? Or appreciate a roof over your head and seek the Lord?
"Thank you God for bills to have a home to live in."
Your car breaks down.
Do you complain? Or do you gladly seek God?
"Thank you God for the transportation I've had."
It's your graduation party outside at a park and a thunderstorm takes over.
Do you get upset? Or do you find joy?
"Thank you God for people to celebrate with and the rain that keeps the world going."
What if we took captive our thoughts? What if we found joy in everything? How different would God's people be? How different would we feel each day? How content would we be in life?
Colossians 3:6
Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
Dear Lord,
I have realized that I have not always had gratitude in all situations. Forgive me for not seeking You in all things, and for not always thanking and praising You for all You have blessed me with. From this day forward I will strive to find happiness in all I have and go through. Continue to fill me with the joy that comes from only You, Lord. Thank you for all You have blessed me with and all You will continue to bless me with.

Find Hope when Hopeless
The feeling of hopelessness...
It's dark; never ending, and there is "no" way out.
We get trapped. We end up a slave to bondage. But why?
Is it because we have not experienced a way out?
Does it look impossible? Or maybe is it because we lack the faith it takes?
When does faith kick in? Do we pray for faith? Does faith come to our front door?
Or do we make the choice to have faith in a hopeless situation?
So if we make the choice to have faith, then what do we do next?
Do we still think hopeless thoughts? Do we still wake up each day "expecting" a miracle?
Or do we take captive our thoughts, and tell ourselves there is a way out through Christ and stand strong?
So, then what? How do we stand strong?
How about reading His word?
How about focusing on personal growth?
How about seeking God?
How about personal worship?
How about surrendering to the Almighty?
How about seeking counsel?
How about thank God for what He will do and has already done?
How about putting on the Armor of God? By the way, what is the Armor of God?
"Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." -Ephesians 6:13-17
So to get out of bondage we need to chose to have faith in Christ,
put our lives in His hands,
take captive our negative thoughts,
worship and praise Him in all we do,
seek counsel and the Lord for answers and personal growth,
and thank Him in everything He has done and yet to come,
and finally put on the armor of God?
Why not? Nothing else works!
Dear Heavenly Father,
Forgive me for not choosing to put my full trust and faith in You. I have tried to find hope and answers in all the wrong places. I am a sinner saved by your grace and I realize I cannot walk this road alone. You are my Savior and the only One to bring me hope. I realize that having faith means in all aspects of life and not just the ones that seem easy. So, I'm choosing today to put my faith in You to get me through the areas in my life I cannot get through alone. I choose to worship You during the good and the bad, to turn to You before anyone else, to put my trust in You and nothing else, and to seek you above everything. I Thank you Father for Your everlasting mercy and grace, and for Your abounding love.
In Jesus name I pray,
Amen.
